London, England & France
Follow our summer vacation starting in London then on the Beaches of Normandy during the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and following the River Seine back to Paris.
We really enjoyed the itinerary. London is a fabulous city and easy to navigate, especially because of no language barriers. The highlight of this trip was Normandy. History, culture and food are our thing and this region fit the bill. Paris is a great city, but can be overwhelming with tourists and getting around by car, bicycle or even walking. The metro was very efficient once we figured out how to use it.
The Paris and Normandy itinerary can be done independently, but also is offered as a river cruise. A river cruise would be perfect for visiting and enjoying this itinerary without hassle.
