1. Information We Collect

1) Contact Information:

We ask visitors who submit a contact form to include their name, email address, and (optionally) phone number as well as preferred method of contact.

2) Page Views, Clicks, Searches, Likes, and Geographical Location:

We use the plugins Jetpack by WordPress.com and PixelYourSite to collect data from visitors each day regarding viewed pages, clicks on links and videos, searches, and the geographical country of origin of visitors.

3) Comments:

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

The plugin Akismet anti-spam collects information about visitors who comment on our site. The information they collect includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself). The Akismet service privacy policy is available here: https://akismet.com/privacy/.

2. How We Use the Information We Collect and Receive

We use the contact information to provide customer services for visitors and market our monthly newsletter to customers. The monthly newsletter is completely optional and customers are able to opt-out at any time.

Analytical data are collected in aggregate to protect the privacy of visitors, such that information, especially geolocation, of any single visitor can not be ascertained.

We use methods such as password protection and encryption to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as we reasonably require and, in any event, only for as long as the Data Protection Legislation allows.

Ultimately, any transmission of information on the internet is not entirely secure, and although we take steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted via this website. Any transmission is hereby at your own risk.
